Murrow News Service: The Best Student Work

Shorsb Murrow News Service content is developed in the journalism classes taught by Ben Shors.  He selects the best material and edits it for the professional market.

Shors is an award-winning journalist specializing in environmental and public-interest reporting in the Pacific Northwest. In 2008, he was a national finalist for the Livingston Award, which recognizes the country’s top journalist under the age of 35.

Shors also advises the student chapters of the Online News Association and the Society for Professional Journalists at WSU, as well as serving as the editorial adviser for The Daily Evergreen, a 12,000-circulation student newspaper.
